하루하루 매 순간 우리는 자신의 길을 걸어간다. 꿈과 목표를 향하든지, 집착과 욕심에 사로잡히든지, 무엇이 옳고 그른지 알 수 없는 혼란스런 세상이지만 어쨌든 우리는 저마다 자신의 인생사를 쓰며 살아간다. 그러면서 희로애락을 느끼며 세월도 흘러가고 언젠가 그 에너지가 모두 방전되고 불태워져 버린 날 우리는 삶을 마감할 것이다. 또한 그 마지막 날은 희극일 수도 있고, 비극일수도 있고, 밋밋한 서사일 수도 있지만 한 인간의 역사가 완성되는 날일 것이다. 아직 긴 세월을 살진 않았지만 삶과 죽음, 그리고 그 속에서 이루어지는 여러 스토리에 의해 우리가 살아간다는 것과 그런 일련의 과정 속에서 축적된 한 인간의 삶에 대해 생각해 보게 되었다.

시간이 흐르면서 삶의 에너지는 닳고 육신은 죽음으로 소멸 돼 버리지만 매 순간이 차곡차곡 쌓여 한 인간사가 완성됨을 한층 한층 쌓아 올려 결국 한 건물이 완공되는 건축의 일반적 의미에 투영한다. 또한, 건물의 각각의 층은 비슷한 구조로 이루어져 있지만 그 공간을 이용하는 사람들에 따라 활용도가 조금씩 다르듯이, 매일 비슷한 삶이지만 매 순간 다르게 일어나는 스토리로 하루하루가 다름을 표현한다.(작가노트/음정수)

Every day, every moment, we walk our own lives. Whether it for the dreams and aims, or in obsession and greed, in a confusing world in which right and wrong cannot be told apart, we live while writing our own lives. The time passes with various emotions, and we will end our lives one day when the energy has been all depleted and burnt. The last day may be comedy, or it may be tragedy, or plain narration, but it is a day completing the history of a person. 

I have not lived a long time, but I have come to think about life and death, and that we live in various stories within them, and the life of a person accumulated in such process. 

As time flows, the energy of life is depleted, and the body becomes extinct through death, but the completion of a human history by the accumulation of every moment was reflected in the general meaning of buildings, in which a building is completed through the accumulation of floors. Also, though the every floor of a building is formed in various structures, their utility differ according to the people who live within the space, and that every day is different because of the stories occurring in every moment is expressed.
